Aleisha and Harry | His Majesty’s Theatre and Rydges Perth

We were extra excited to photograph Harry and Aleisha’s wedding, as Richard’s known both of them through taekwondo before they even knew each other, a long, long time ago! Richard was also there when Harry first made his moves on Aleisha at a taekwondo competition, so he really can say they go way back!

Fast forward nearly a decade, we started the day early, with Richard visiting Harry at an exclusive, mens only grooming place, where Harry was getting among many things, a proper shave, Korean style! Meanwhile I visited the girls, at their huge hotel room at the Rydges in the CBD where things were pretty relaxed, before at dash over to His Majesties where Aleisha finished getting ready in one of the coolest, most opulent venues in Perth!

Their ceremony was held in the loby of His Majesty’s Theatre, which was conveniently just across the road from Rydges. Maybe a little to convenient for Harry as he didn’t end up getting a limo to transport him the 50 metres, even though I know deep down he really wanted to.

The bridal party photos were taken around His Majs, King St, and our private rooftop venue (ok carpark!). Their reception was held at the Rydges, where their guests from as far away as Korea partied the night away. The night ended with the funniest balloon popping competition that I have ever seen, I guess that’s what happens when 90% of the people on the dance floor are trained in martial arts!

Congratulations Harry and Aleisha! Thank you for an amazing day, and having us along for the adventures, we can’t wait to hear about your amazing honeymoon in Japan xo.
