Jesmond first met Katherine at an expo where they were both working, where he wowed Katherine with donuts. It is true, the way to the heart really is through the stomach! :)
Their stunning wedding was held at two of our favourite venues – the ceremony was at the Colonnade at Caversham House above the waterfall, followed by a reception in the ballroom at the new Crown Towers. One of the of the many highlights were the lion dancers at the beginning of the reception, along with lots of crazy dancing, touching speeches and more courses of food than I could count!
But before that, the day started early with a traditional tea ceremony, complete with roast pig and firecrackers full of colourful paper. Despite the early start, the night ended with an after party in Crown’s opulent Infinity Suite, with it’s huge balcony overlooking the river and CBD. What an amazing day!!
