Jing and Aquilla’s wedding was a glamorous day, the they looked stunning,, even the wild flowers and white fluffy clods were out for them :)
Aquilla and Jing first met at theirmutual friend’s Jeffrey’s birthday party. Although they did know ahead of time that they were going to meet after Aquilla had stumbled upon Jing’s Facebook profile whilst looking at the list of RSVPs. On the day, Aquilla came walking into the party with bleached blonde/yellow hair and a striking red jacket – Jing couldn’t miss him! It was love at first sight!!
Aquilla proposed at Caversham House, so it was fitting that they had their wedding there too! His proposal was a huge surprise, he had organised a limo to tour around the Swan Valley, where they were first met by a horse on carriage, before heading off for wine and cheese tasting. As the sun was setting they headed to to Caversham House. As they got out of the car, Aquilla told Jing to close her eyes, he guided her towards Caversham House as the sounds of a violin played in the background. Suddenly, Aquilla stopped, he told Jing to open her eyes – when Jing finally opened her eyes , Aquilla was on one knee with a ring. As Jing peered into the hidden gardens below there wre big lights that said ‘MARRY ME’. And of course she said yes!! And that is how we all found ourselves back at Caversham House 16 months later….
A big shout out to Ebb & Fleur for flowers, who has great taste and is super talented, and Caversham House for providing a stunning backdrop to a beautiful day.
Jing and Aquilla have a second wedding reception in Penang, Malaysia shorlty, after which they will be honeymooning in South Korea and Koh Samui, Thailand.
