We first met Tony and Nicole when they were in the bridal party for Elena and Jame’s wedding. They had all met through work, and Tony had recently proposed to Nicole in front of the Swan Fountain at Burswood Park, after buffet dinner at the Atrium, yum! So it was nice to see so many familiar faces in the bridal party and at the wedding.
Whilst Tony didn’t want to have too many Macedonian traditions, I did manage to get some photos of him shaving, in lieu of doing so the traditional way- with an axe! Their ceremony was held at the photogenic Macedonian Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas. Their flower girl Natalia, and pageboy, their extremely mature and well behaved son Zach did an awesome job and looked extremely cute. We love Macedonian churches as there are so many colourful details, and we are allowed to move around more freely, and get angles from behind the bridal party with their audience in the background. :)
After a quick stop at Queens Gardens and UWA, and a snack stop at McDonalds, their reception was held at Matilda Bay, which is also one of our favourite locations. In fact, I am back there for a wedding today! Not only is the food and staff amazing, just out the front is perfect for photos, with city views over the river, many yachts, a jetty and the most prettiest trees that literally glow in the afternoon sun. Their wedding was held in the upstairs Roe Room, which has a huge dance floor for all the traditional dancing, views over the river, and there were even some fireworks on the night! Nicole and Tony honeymooned at the picturesque Pullman Resort in Bunker Bay, which looks amazing!
