Prue and Michael met through their involvement with horses. And by involvement, I mean really involved! They even had to reschedule their wedding due to a horse event – Prue told me otherwise half her guests wouldn’t be able to make it to the wedding – including herself!
Michael proposed in Bali, as they were walking along the beach. After asking Prue if she liked Bali, Michael said he had something else to ask. He got on one knee and popped the question! They were on the trip with a big group of family and friends, so they were able to celebrate straight away!
When their wedding day arrived it was clear, sunny and really really warm! We started the day with Michael and the boys, Kody, Ryan, Kade, Aaron and Cheyne, Nicolas and their nephew Leo who did his best to entertain everyone. It was all happening there, the boys even had their own hair stylist! Meanwhile Prue was busy getting ready on her families property surrounded with lots of horses.
Their ceremony was help at the red brick chapel on the Fairbridge grounds, their celebrant Janince from Weddings on the Bay is a family friend, and did a great job. Most of the bridal party photos are taken right by the church, as it was still really hot and the church made the best shade. Fairbridge is so pretty, we had interesting lighting and backgrounds in all directions! After wandering down the rustic dirt road we made our way to their reception, where their guests were eagerly awaiting their arrival. Their reception was extra ‘festive’, probably fueled by all the extra drinking their guests had to do to make up for the hot weather.
