After more than 11 years together, Suzii and Denis finally made it official! Suzii and Denis’ wedding was a a beautiful day, full of opulent details, florals, metallic accents and fun personal touches.
Suzii and Denis first met at a mutual friend’s birthday party at a karaoke studio in Northbridge, in 2004. It wasn’t love at first sight as Denis got massively friendzoned…but it all started when a piece of chocolate cake was cut way too large for Suzii to have on her own, so Denis (and Edwin, the best-man) offered to share with her. The rest of the story proves that persistence can overcome the dreaded friendzone ;)
On a hot day in November, Denis insisted Suzii put up the Christmas tree. This wasn’t odd at all since Suzii always puts on a big song and dance every year when it comes to Christmas…so it was only appropriate that the sparkly engagement ring was tied to the sparkly tree topper! Amidst everything that was happening, their puppy PJ didn’t understand that it was a romantic moment and attempted to eat the tree.
Their wedding began early, the girls were getting ready at the photogenic Frasers Suites. Their ceremony was held at St Michael The Archangel Chapel, followed by a tea ceremony in East Perth. Their reception was held in the Astral Ballroom at Crown.
They honeymooned in a fancy resort in Bali, where they ate their weight in endless buffets, followed by a honeymoon to Japan to watch Sumo wrestling tournaments! Romantic! :)
