Wedding Photography | Lauren and Simon at Waters Edge Winery

Lauren and Simon first met in England. In Simon’s words Lauren was the “pretty girl across the dance floor”. What surprised him the most was the Australian accent that came out of her mouth, and Simon has been captivated ever since.

When Lauren met Simon, she really did find Mr Right (or should I say Mr Wright!)

After a fun engagement shoot, we knew we were in for a great day at the tranquil Water’s Edge Winery on the edge of the Swan River in the Swan Valley Waters Edge Winery. The bridal party and guests were a blast! With 80 guests from overseas, including much of the bridal party Richard and I almost felt we were not in Australia ourselves.

The day began with a photoshoot of the boys relaxing, playing pool and then quickly getting ready. We then headed over to the girls where hair, makeup, walking practice and activity was abuzz.

The ceremony was held on the Lawn at Waters Edge Winery, in the shade of a beautiful old tree, under a romantic arch. The bridal photos were taken as Lauren and Simon cruised along the Swan River for a romantic getaway in a private boat – conveniently launched from the winery’s own jetty. The reception was back at Waters Edge Winery, where the energetic crowd danced and photoboothed the night away!

Thanks Lauren and Simon for a wonderful and entertaining day. We enjoyed every moment of it!
