The Red Herring | Sarah and Shannon

Sarah and Shannon are such a sweet couple, and are so cute together. They met back at uni, when they were both studying pharmacy and they have never looked back.

We started their wedding day with Sarah, and her awesome bridesmaids Claire and Lucy as they were getting ready. The preparations were a little hectic, but everything came together in the end with perfect timing, and Sarah looked amazing!! The romantic ceremony was held at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Palmyra.

A slight change of plan due to the rainy weather, we then headed to the stylish Leighton Apartments. I think that it must be the most beautiful indoor location for photos. Even the car park in the basement had perfectly white walls, probably cleaner than most photographic studios. :) Sarah and Shannon bravely tried to make it outside for some photos at sunset, but the weather had other ideas!

The reception was held at the Red Herring. There was such a cosy feel, as the venue is right on the river, and raindrops splattered against the magnificent panoramic glass windows. The food was delicious, the speeches hilarious and there was definitely a party atmosphere going on!

After a short trip down to Margaret River with family, and their dog, Sarach and Shannon are off on an exotic honeymoon in Malaysia and Singapore. Thank you guys for having us be part of your wedding day.
