Steph & Luke | Laurance Wines in Margaret River (Robert Oatley)

Steph and Luke first met when Steph snuck out to a partywhen she was 15 years old. They spent the night chatting together, however when Luke asked for her phone number Steph gave him a fake one, as she did not like his shoes. Luckily a while later they got in contact with each other and have been inseparable ever since!

Luke romantically proposed on Valentines day in 2012. He hired a limousine to take Steph to the Seaview Restaurant in Fremantle, where they had a romantic dinner and cocktails by the ocean. Back in the limo, Luke pretended to be getting some champagne, but instead turned around, got on one knee and popped the question.

We first visited the Luke and his groomsmen Daniel and David where they were getting ready in the amazing villas at Rivendell Winery. Then we visited Steph and her bridemaids nearby before they hopped into Steph’s parents limos Events Chauffeur Services www.eventschauffeurservices.com.au for the short drive to the ceremony at the photogenic Laurance Wines in Margaret River (which, as of 2017 is called Robert Oatley Margaret River). Their ceremony took place by the picturesque lake, surrounded by jasmine and one thousand rose bushes. The bridal party photos were held in the winery grounds, including the amazing barn, and also at Canal Rocks. The reception was held in the rustic Cellar, complete with open fireplace, a high ceiling, a chandelier made of wine glasses, open beams and french doors overlooking the gardens and vineyard, which fit in perfectly with the French romantic decor Steph had designed. Steph highly recommends Laurance Winery, with special thanks to Sharon co-ordinator for the great food, service and how for making sure everything was perfect! And DJ Paul Stafford’s lazer lights looked awesome!

Steph and Luke honeymooned in Bora Bora and Moorea, Tahiti, Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. From the photos I’ve seen and the stories I’ve heard, Bora Bora and Moorea sound like the most amazing place for a honeymoon! Someone have their wedding there and take us with you :P
