Stacey and Nathain | Matilda Bay on the River

From the moment I met Stacey and Nathain, I knew that there wedding was going to be a fun day! We started the day at the girls, where Stacey, and her bridesmaids Amy, Kate and Dominique were already ready when we arrived! Super organised! Even though time still went really fast it was great that things were so calm and relaxed.

The ceremony and reception were both at the stunning Matilda Bay. The day itself was perfect, clear skies the foreshore where the ceremony was held was shady, with the afternoon sun causing the trees to glow. Awesome for photos, well except the zillion picnincers who kept getting in the background of the photos. That’s ok, we blurred them out with our shallow depth of field lenses :)

For bridal party photos we stayed close by, quickly ducking off to UWA and the Blue Boat Shed. A mysterious sign had appeared that the Blue Boat Shed boardwalk was closed, so we got creative and got a few unique angles. Although in retrospect, I am sure that the sign was a complete fake – the jetty looked safer than ever and it was gone the week later. The sunset photos were taken back outside Matilda Bay Function Centre, city views, boats, white sand, purple skies, and all within 2 minutes walk from their reception!!
