I was super excited to photograph Scott and Cassandra’s wedding! By coincidence I knew Scott from way back during our school days and had met Cassandra through a mutual friend, so it was awesome and confusing to my brain to find out they were getting married. The world is a small place!!
Chris and I started the day with Scott, where Jeff, Ayden and Dave were having a beer and figuring out their ties. At the girls, Cassandra and her super organised bridesmaids Tran, Lindy and Dale had everything going smoothly.
Cassandra and Scotts ceremony was held on the Mt Eliza Lawn, which would have to be the most secluded and pretty ceremony location in Kings Park. Surrounded by colourful wildflowers and gumtrees it looked stunning! The ceremony was very sweet, and was followed by an outdoor tea pouring ceremony.
After some quick photos in Kings Park, we headed to Perth’s Eiffel Tower (the Blue Boat Shed) on the way to their reception at another of our favourite venues, South of Perth Yacht Club. Surrounded by the river to the north and the west it is the perfect location for sunset photos, and we love the rocks, sandy beach and green lawn, and city views! Although it was more of a stormy twilight, than an actual sunset, I’m loving the dramatic skies. Their reception was in the upstairs function room overlooking the city, with delicious food, some hilarious speeches and even some impromptu fireworks :)
Thank you Scott and Cassandra for having us part of your wedding day!! We had so much fun and it was such a privilege to be a part of your day.
