Elisha + Shane | The Cut Dawesville Golf Course Wedding

Elisha and Shane met at Motorvation at Kwinana Motorplex, during a drinking competition. Despite a slight mishap that afternoon, when Shane fell 4 metres from the top of a human pyramid and broke his wrist, it seems it was worth the pain. Lucky for Shane, not only did he win the drinking competition, he also stole Elisha’s heart. Elisha and Shane later got engaged at the Potato Head in Bali.

And thus we were lucky enough to be photographing their ocean sunset themed wedding. After visiting the boys, we headed to the beach themed Seashells Resort in Mandurah. The bridesmaids wore yellow dresses, and carried warm colour toned flower, along with touches of shells. The ceremony was held at Hole 2 of Dawesville Golf Course, overlooking the green, and also the turquoise ocean. We love photographing areas with open skies, and so golf courses and beaches are amongst our favourite venues, so Richard and I were in our element.

The bridal party photos were also taken throughout the golf course as we whizzed around in golf buggies, and we later trekked down to the beach for sunset.

Their cocktail reception was also held at the golf course, where guests mingled, nibbled and drunk the night away. I loved their football garter toss, and the hilarious speeches! Elisha and Shane, thank you for inviting us to your photogenic wedding and for a fun day. We wish you an amazing time for your upcoming honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Las Vegas and LA!
