A long, long time ago, the very night Andrew met Elyce, it was love at first sight. Andrew was so sure of Elyce, he called his mum to tell her that he’d met the girl of his dreams and that she was the girl he’d marry. Since it was 2am, and a slightly drunk Andrew had woken his mum, she wasn’t particularly excited for him…. Little did she know Andrew’s instincts at 2am, after a few beers were spot on! And that here they would be, getting married! Elyce and Andrews wedding was a fun, photogenic day.
We started the day with Andrew, his fur babies, and his groomsmen. Meanwhile at Elyce’s, it was all happening. Her pro bridesmaids Maja, Brianna, Adriana, Kelly, Laura (who we had mostly met when we photographed Maja’s wedding a while back) even had time to sing a few numbers.
Their beautiful ceremony was held at Christ of the King Church in Beaconsfield, after which we had photos around the church, at Monument Hill and the Beach in Freo. There were some crazy winds, which combined with Elyce’s long luscious locks were a little bit challenging but luckily there was calm between the gusts.
The reception was held at the Esplanade Hotel in the room overlooking the pool, with function managed ensuring everything went smoothly. Their flower girl Anthea did an amazing job, we were very impressed with her posing like a pro, and then partying well into the night. I wonder where she got that from? :)
Thank you Elyce and Andrew for having us along for such a fun and photogenic day. Also a big thank you to Elyce’s bridesmaid Laura, who managed some artistic photos down on the beach (especially after I photoshopped myself out of them), we chose the right person to babysit our camera :)
