Sarah and T’s wedding was a beautiful day, full of laughter and energy from their very entertaining bridal party :) It was held at Rendezvous Hotel, Scarborough, from the brides and grooms preparation, to their ceremony in the foyer and reception in the Mezannine Room overlooking the ocean. Whilst they did have a garden ceremony at UWA planned the weather decided that it was the day for a giant storm so Plan B was activated.
We did end up going to UWA for bridal party photos, and judging by the huge puddles that were still everywhere when we arrived later in the afternoon, I think they made a good call on the weather. Their kids Lylah and Kaison were adorable, even coming along for the bridal party photos, and pulling out their poses, which is very impressive for a 1 and 3 year old :)
By later afternoon the storm had cleared and we were left with glowing clouds overlooking the beach for sunset. Their guests were able to watch the prettiest purple and orange sunset from the reception room as the sun set. Their reception was very festive, I enjoyed all the Maori traditions, especially the wedding haka and traditional dancing.
