Kristina and Ashley | St Columba’s Church and Astral Ballroom, Crown

Kristina and Ashley are the funniest, most easy going couple! And their wedding was perfectly stunning.

We started the day visiting Ashley and his groomsmen Dane, Mick, Zane and Trent getting ready at Crown metrolpol. Meanwhile Kristina and her bridesmaids Jessica, Claudia, Tammy and Jade were busy sipping Dom Perignon as they were being beautified.

The ceremony was held at the stunning St Columba Church in South Perth. I love the fact this church overlooks the river and CBD, perfect for some photos outside. Their wedding was complete with guests blowing bubbles and a Dove release (apparently the birds know how to find their way home and will fly back there!)

We went to the South Perth foreshore for some photos, before a quick stop at the Blue Boat Shed, where we had fun with the lovely Hugh and Rob from Stellar Visions. We then headed back to their hotel room in Crown to cool down and sip of Veuve Clicquot whilst their guests were entertained by the Wonderful With Wine trio during pre-Dinner drinks and canapes.

The reception was held in the Astral Ballroom, Crown, and looked like a fairy tale. The guests were I cant speak highly enough of the styling by WED On Beaufort, and my love for sparkly backdrops has grown even more for the stunning textures they create in photos. Their cake was divine, so simple yet so elegant, and Masina Miller Jazz Trio added the the classic ambiance. Their was plenty of fun and laughter, an amazing first dance, beautiful speeches, a few hilarious games and some serious dancing!
