Caversham House Wedding | Jenna and Andrew

Jenna and Andrew’s wedding full of lots of fun and laughter. We started the morning at the boys, where we were surprised to see all six groomsmen and Andrew completely dressed and ready, with another four hours to go until the ceremony. How organised is that! After some casual photos in the huge backyard, we headed over to visit Jenna and her bridesmaids.

When we arrived at the girls it was a little hectic. Bridesmaid and hairdresser Jamie was still busy styling the girls hair. That was a pretty big job to mix in with her bridesmaid duties, but she did a stunning job, and it was great having our “hair stylist” with us the entire wedding, especially as it was a typical windy Perth day! Before departing for the ceremony, we were taking photos with the Hummer, taller, louder and more colourful vehicle caught our attention. Mr Whippy!! So Jenna bought an icecream and we took a few photos. BTW in case anyone is wondering, the photo with all the police was when Jenna and the bridesmaids were in the Hummer on the way to the ceremony, we went through a Booze Bus.

Jenna and Andrews ceremony and reception were both held at Caversham House, in the lovely Swan Valley. Caversham House is one of our favorite wedding venues in Perth, with everything from a jetty, waterfall, stone staircases, fancy limestone balustrades, pretty trees, the rose garden, a tunnel with grape vines poking around the corner. We’ve shot quite a few weddings downstairs on the lush lawn or on the grand staircase by the Hidden Gardens. But this wedding was the first in the recently redesigned Colonnade, above the waterfall. It was such a stunning day and the hedges and architecture felt like we were in Bali. The bridal party photos were taken within the Caversham grounds, there’s so much variety there and the energetic bridal party was always ready with their moves!

The reception was held in the huge Marquee, which looked stunning. The food was great and the atmosphere very energetic! We borrowed the bride and groom for some sunset and twilight photos in the field near Caversham. For some reason the grass had got really spikey and the sand really soft. But Jenna and Andrew wandered in like troopers. Thanks Jenna and Andrew for a fun day :)
