Krystal and Matt first met in the city, at of all places in Myer! Matt had randomly started chatting to Krystal, and whilst she though he was cute and very polite, it was a couple of weeks before she agreed to go on a date with him… because seriously who starts chatting to random girls in a department store?! Luckily Krystal decided that he wasn’t crazy, and after she got to know him she realized how much of a gentleman he is.
They were engaged January 2014, being the kind, considerate boy he is, Matt’s proposal was very sweet. He knew Krystal was homesick for the countryside, so Matt decided to take her on a surprise trip down south for her birthday. He rented chalet on top of the hill in Balingup, overlooking the valley. At sunset Matt proposed on the chalet’s balcony, with a bottle of Veuve to celebrate. And very smooth and creative, Matt proposed with his Mum’s engagement ring as he knew Krystal would like to choose a ring for herself, but didn’t want to spoil the suprise by asking for her opinion beforehand.
Krystal and Matt’s wedding was a classic, elegant and beautiful affair. Their ceremony was held at the Colonnade at Caversham House, followed by a reception in the Marquee. The day was full of laughter and partying!
